The guarantee

Every purchase of OpaCaptions Pro or Studio, and every update renewal, comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Ask within 14 days of paying and we'll refund the full amount. You don't need to give a reason, though we'd love to hear what we could do better.

How to ask

Email support@opacaptions.com from the address you bought with, and include your licence key or order number. That's all.

What happens next

• We confirm your refund, usually within two business days.
• The money goes back to the payment method you used. Your bank or card provider may take 5–10 business days to show it.
• The licence key is deactivated, and the app goes back to the Free plan on your PCs. Your captioned videos and files stay yours.
• If your payment was handled by a payment partner, they may process the refund on our behalf.

Free plan and non-profit licences

The Free plan and non-profit licences cost nothing, so there's nothing to refund.

Fair use

We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse, such as buying and refunding repeatedly.

Your rights

This policy adds to, and doesn't limit, any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
